Greetings!
The 2019 year is almost over and we already have plans for 2020. As a result, we are asking God to supply our needs in six key areas. (Sometimes I get tired just thinking through next year. 🙂
#1: Going Back To Kenya in January
Debby and I are taking a homeschool team to Kenya. We arrive in country on December 30th and will arrive back home on the 10th of January.
Our team will be made up of 12 people. Three are in highschool, two are young adults and the rest are us older-type adults!
Our goal is to work with a Deaf School building them 20 bunk beds so all the kids can have a place to sleep. We will then be working with youth in an inner city area. Finally we will be training more teenagers in understanding life from a scriptural perspective.
Total needed: $3,000.
#2: Going To Asia in February
I have been asked by a seminary in Asia to come and train their seminarians. I will be there for two weeks.
The trip will be from February 8th to the 23rd. There will be about 120 seminar students there. What an honor it will be to pour into their lives. Due to security reasons, I’m leaving the name of the country out!

#3: Going Back To Kenya in April
Debby and I will be taking a small team to work with the Maasi tribe once again. This time she will do two trainings for women. One will be in the village where we were last April and another will be in a new village with new women.
While she is doing that, I will be training Maasi pastors along with other village pastors in the area. The training will last 1 week. It will be similar to the training I did last June.

#4: Homeschool Needs
This will be our 7th year of going to homeschool conventions. We are loving hearing about the lives that are being changed. At the same time, we are also tired. Being on the road that much takes it out of you.
As a result, we are taking a sabbatical year and not going to be traveling in the 2020 year (unless I am a featured speaker). We are going to be putting money into advertising on the internet. We will be using “Doodly” advertisements and hope to see that generate a greater awareness of our material. Unfortunately, we need money to advertise with!

#5: Going Back to Kenya in August/September
In the fall we are going to be taking another homeschool team back to Kenya. We are still working out the plans on the specifics of this team, but we constantly want to be exposing teens to other countries to get them outside of their “American bubble.”
Debby will be joining me again. (The money will be for her expenses.) We hope to take a team of about 10-20 people.

#6: Podcasts/YouTube Channel for Teens
Last June, I traveled to Idaho and did a teen track for the state homeschool convention. I had ten hours over a period of two days. I didn’t do games or icebreakers or anything. We simply got into God’s Word–and they loved it!
After ten hours of lecturing, some of them said, “Can we have a third day?”
I walked away from this convinced that teens are hungering for truth. They want to be treated like adults theologically. As a result, I feel the Lord has led me to go after them by putting my teaching in “Teen Form.” This means having teens in our studio and training them, all the time putting it in audio and video form.
This will then go on YouTube as well as audio form on www.PodcastsForTeens.com. (This website should be ready next spring.) New equipment will be needed (along with hired help) to make all of this happen.
