FGM. It stands for female genital mutilation. It is when a young girl’s private parts are cut off to “keep her from her sexual desires.” This is done in the bush and she is then “stitched together” with thorns from a thorn bush. It’s barbaric.
And to top it all off, it doesn’t work. They still have sexual desires.
But the hypocrisy is that the men demand it of their women, but then they also want to go out and find women who have not been circumcised to have sex with.
When UnveilinGLORY teams go to these villages where FGM is practiced, they expose the health and social issues that come about as a result of this practice. They also show a video of a six-year-old girl screaming bloody murder when she is being “cut.” When the men see this, they see how terrible it is and say, “No more in our village.”
We are ending FGM, one village at a time.

UnveilinGLORY has teamed up with Hami Imani and Healthwise Foundation to end FGM in Kenya. They have put together a powerful three-day event where a small community comes together and learns about FGM and its dangers.
We are finding that the men have no idea what it involved. And the women had it done so long ago, they weren’t aware of what happened. When they find out how bad it is, they say, “No more FGM in our area.”
We are seeing success. We are seeing lives changed. Please help us help them. Each trip costs approximately $1500. To hear of the successful trips, make sure you are on our newsletter list.
